Terms of Service

Effective date: June 29, 2026 · Last updated: July 19, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Yantara mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Suriyen LLC ("Yantara," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Safety notice

Yantara is a riding companion for motorcyclists. Always obey traffic laws, ride within your skill level, and keep your attention on the road. Do not interact with the app in a way that distracts you from riding safely. The Service is an aid only and does not replace your judgment as a rider.

01 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that you hold any license, endorsement, insurance, registration, or other authorization required by law for the vehicle you operate.

02 Your Account

You are responsible for:

You may not share, sell, transfer, or sublicense your account without our permission.

03 Free Initial Release

Yantara is currently provided free of charge for this release. The current version of the Service does not enable paid subscriptions, in-app purchases, billing, sponsored placements, booking commerce, or advertising.

If we introduce paid features, subscriptions, trials, advertising, sponsored placements, or commerce features in the future, we will update these Terms, update applicable app-store disclosures, and present required purchase terms before those features become available.

For iOS users, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Apple's standard EULA) applies to the iOS app. These custom Terms govern use of the Android/Google Play app and the website.

04 License to Use the Service

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial riding and route-planning purposes.

You may not:

05 Riding, Navigation, and Weather Safety

Routes, maps, road information, weather alerts, turn-by-turn guidance, scenic suggestions, points of interest, speed information, and safety features may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or unsuitable for your vehicle, skill level, road conditions, weather, traffic, or local law.

You are solely responsible for:

Yantara does not guarantee route safety, road legality, road surface quality, weather accuracy, hazard detection, or arrival times.

06 Crash Detection and Emergency Features

Yantara may include crash detection, SOS, emergency-contact, and related safety features. These features are provided on a best-effort basis and are not a substitute for emergency services.

They may fail, trigger late, miss events, or generate false positives due to factors including sensor limitations, GPS quality, cellular connectivity, battery level, operating-system restrictions, device placement, vehicle movement, or app state.

Always contact emergency services directly when you need help.

07 Voice, RIA, and AI-Generated Content

Yantara may include voice-command, RIA assistant, route-help, and other AI-assisted features. RIA's AI features are powered by Anthropic (Claude) and are optional. AI suggestions are assistive only, provided "as is," and are not a substitute for safe riding, traffic laws, or your own situational awareness. AI-generated output, and navigation, route, weather, and scenic data, may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsafe.

You are responsible for reviewing and evaluating any AI output before relying on it. Do not rely on AI output as the sole basis for decisions affecting safety, legal compliance, finances, property, or emergency situations.

You may not use Yantara's AI or voice features to request or facilitate unlawful, dangerous, harassing, abusive, or harmful conduct.

08 Group Rides and Shared Information

If you join or lead a group ride, some information may be visible to other group members, such as your display name, group membership, live location during the active group ride, route state, regroup pins, and related group-ride metadata.

You are responsible for deciding what groups to join and what information to share. Leave or end a group ride if you no longer want to participate or share live group-ride information.

09 User Content

You may submit or create content through the Service, such as display names, group names, route names, ride notes, route feedback, scenic routes, pins, reports, and voice/PTT content ("User Content").

You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant Yantara a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, display, transmit, modify, and use your User Content as needed to operate, secure, support, moderate, and improve the Service.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit your User Content and that it does not violate these Terms, law, or the rights of others.

For this initial release, user-created scenic routes are private to the signed-in rider unless a future release explicitly introduces sharing.

10 Community Standards and Moderation

Yantara has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive conduct. You agree not to submit, display, transmit, or encourage:

We may remove content, restrict features, block interactions, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve evidence, or report conduct to appropriate authorities when we believe it is necessary to enforce these Terms, protect riders, protect the public, or comply with law. We aim to review reports of objectionable content or abusive behavior and act on them promptly — typically within 24 hours — by removing the content and/or removing the offending user as warranted.

Riders can report or block other riders through supported app surfaces or by contacting support@yantara.app. By using community and group-ride features, you agree there is zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior.

11 Third-Party Services

The Service depends on third-party services, each governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy:

We are not responsible for third-party services, third-party content, third-party availability, or third-party data accuracy. For this release, Yantara does not enable third-party booking, lodging, reservations, affiliate commerce, paid partner transactions, sponsored POIs, or advertising placements.

12 Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your information will be handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

13 Communications

We may send you account verification and recovery messages, security and safety notices, operational notices, customer-support communications, software update information, release announcements, new-feature information, beta or early-access invitations, product education, feedback requests and surveys, and promotional communications where permitted by law.

You may unsubscribe from promotional communications using the unsubscribe link included in those messages. Essential account, security, legal, safety, and operational communications may still be sent when reasonably necessary. Promotional communications are governed by our Privacy Policy, applicable law, available communication preferences, and your unsubscribe choices.

14 Service Availability

We may modify the Service, update or change functionality, and suspend or discontinue features. The Service may also experience interruptions or outages. We do not guarantee continuous availability or the permanent availability of any particular feature. If we introduce paid features in the future, this does not permit us to disregard prepaid obligations for services you have purchased.

Availability of the Service and of specific features varies by country and region and may be limited, delayed, or withdrawn based on government approvals and applicable law, app-store availability, and the terms and regional availability of third-party providers we rely on (including Anthropic and other vendors). We do not guarantee that the Service or any feature will be available in your country.

15 Intellectual Property

The Service, including software, design, text, graphics, logos, marks, and other materials, is owned by Suriyen LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license granted in these Terms, no rights are granted to you.

16 Feedback

If you submit feedback, suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or improvement requests, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation to you.

17 Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk for Yantara or riders, abuse the Service, or if we discontinue the Service. When you delete your account, associated personal information is deleted or anonymized subject to legal obligations, security requirements, fraud prevention, moderation needs, limited backup retention, and the other exceptions described in the Privacy Policy.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute terms, and any license needed to operate or protect the Service.

18 Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YANTARA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, SAFETY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, THAT ROUTES OR WEATHER DATA WILL BE ACCURATE, THAT SAFETY FEATURES WILL WORK IN EVERY SITUATION, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.

19 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SURIYEN LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOSS OF PROFITS; LOSS OF DATA; LOSS OF GOODWILL; PERSONAL INJURY; PROPERTY DAMAGE; OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM ROUTE CHOICES, WEATHER CONDITIONS, RIDING CONDITIONS, EMERGENCY FEATURES, AI OUTPUT, THIRD-PARTY SERVICES, OR YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) US$50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.

20 Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Suriyen LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your violation of another person's rights.

21 Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Nothing in this section limits non-waivable consumer rights you may have under the laws of your place of residence.

22 Export and Sanctions Compliance

You agree to use the Service only in compliance with applicable export-control, sanctions, and trade laws, and not to use the Service where prohibited by those laws.

23 General

Assignment. We may assign or transfer these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, asset sale, or similar transaction. You may not assign your rights or obligations without our written consent.

Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.

Waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any additional terms presented for a specific feature form the agreement governing the Service.

Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.

24 Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
